It's a Wonderful Life: A Virtual Radio Play
2:00 PM
Centennial Celebration Series! It's a Wonderful Life: A Virtual Radio Play

Drift back in time to the Golden Age of Radio and tune in to enjoy this holiday classic broadcast, complete with sound effects, music, and the voices of talented actors.

Classic Radio Road Show will present the feel good holiday classic "It's A Wonderful Life" premiering December 2. The virtual radio play will be available to enjoy through early January.

Experience "It’s A Wonderful Life" as a radio play, based on the classic holiday movie. Actors portray numerous characters, and sound effects are created by a Foley artist. "It’s A Wonderful Life" is about George Bailey, a generous and well-meaning man who has become too downcast and tired to continue living. With help from a lovable angel, George will see what life would be like if he wasn't born, with the hope George will have a change of heart and understand the true spirit of the holidays.

The voice actors: Duane Noch, Randall McCann, Gwen Ricks-Spenser, Sheldon Fallon, Shannon Rossi, Laurie Noch, and Michael Bürgi. Foley sound effects by Marlene Whitney.

Classic Radio Road Show Players recreate the Golden Age of Radio. Scenes from the stories are enhanced by sound effects, music, and the voices of talented actors. Live performances of the scripts by the most creative writers of the era will trigger your imagination. It's called theater of the mind.
