Neighborhood Connections to Health is pleased to host an event in Freehold for families with disabilities. It will be a wellness fair with health screenings, cancer and chronic disease prevention screening, access to free flu and COVID19 vaccines, food and music- with an emphasis on disability resources.

There will also be tours of the Freehold Family Health Center: -597 Park Ave. Freehold.- being offered throughout the day.

LGBTQ+ NAMI Connection Recovery Support Group meets on the last Sunday of the month.

NAMI Connection is a peer-led recovery support group for individuals (18+) in the LGBTQ+ community who have a mental health condition. View flyer for the registration link or QR code. Contact jyudof@naminj.org for more information.

What is the LGBTQ+ NAMI Connection Recovery Support Group?
This NAMI Connection is a peer-led recovery support group for individuals (18+) in
the LGBTQ+ community who are looking for a safe and inclusive space to discuss
mental health and various LGBTQ+ related topics.
Attendees will:
• Empathize and learn from others’ experiences
Share beneficial coping strategies
• Participate in productive discussion
Gain a sense of community and belonging
• Offer encouragement and understanding to others
When will the LGBTQ+ NAMI Support Group meet?
LGBTQ+ Support Group meetings will occur the last Sunday of each month from
7:00 PM – 8:30 PM Eastern Time. All meetings will be 90 minutes and are entirely
confidential.

Do you want to speak English?  Learn the language to help you at work, at home, and in the community.  Free English as a Second Language in-person classes will begin at the Eastern Branch in Shrewsbury on September 21st and run through December 14.  

Classes are Wednesday evenings from 7:00 - 8:30 pm, and are offered through LiteracyNJ Monmouth.

by Monmouth County Clerk Christine Giordano Hanlon and the Archives Division of the Monmouth County Clerk’s Office! 
The event will focus on Monuments and Markers of Monmouth County
More than 50 local and state history organizations will set-up displays on topics relating to New Jersey history and their organizations.

Get ready for Hazlet Day on October 1, 2022 from 11 am to 4 pm at Veterans Park, 1776 Union Avenue, Hazlet, New Jersey. 

Hazlet Day is a festive, family-friendly annual event with participation from a wide range of entertainers, food trucks, local merchants, service organizations, first responders and local businesses. 

We welcome vendors and organizations! Vendor set-up is 8:00 am to 9:30 am. Break down is 4:30 pm. No tents or electricity supplied.
