A discussion on a healthy holiday mindset with tips for prioritizing your wellness but also how you can indulge while enjoying a wonderful meal.

Rachel Tansey, MA Senior Family & Community Health Sciences Extension Associate under Rutgers Cooperative Extension in Monmouth Count: Ms. Tansey earned her bachelor’s degree in Nutritional Sciences from Rutgers University and a master’s degree in Holistic Health from Georgian Court University. Rachel works with local partners to educate residents on various topics centered around nutrition, wellness, and healthy well-being. Her primary concentration areas are in community health education, wellness & self-care, nutritious eating, and healthy lifestyles with an emphasis on wellness in the workplace.

This session will be conducted on Zoom and is free of charge. Registration and internet access are required to attend. Register below to receive emailed information on how to access the conversation.

This Holiday Season the Monmouth Museum Train Display will make its much-anticipated return brought to you by Hackensack Meridian Health – Jersey Shore University Medical Center! This nostalgic display features 4 Lionel Trains winding through an over 30ft exhibit of towns, mountains, cities and more! Alongside the trains, the Main Gallery hosts our 20ft Holiday Tree and Pat Brentano’s show “Consider the Trees…”! The Nilson Gallery will showcase a holiday gift shop and artwork available for purchase from Museum Members!

The Holiday Train Display is open November 19 – January 8!

Join us as the Navesink Brass play a special concert for the Eastern Branch, performing holiday and Hanukkah arrangements for you to enjoy.

The Navesink Brass is a professional brass quintet comfortable with all styles of music, from Renaissance to Jazz and Rock. Formed in 1992 in Red Bank, NJ, this is the thirtieth anniversary of the ensemble. The quintet took the name of the local river flowing through Monmouth County. They look forward to returning to the Eastern Branch.

The quintet includes: Thomas Bender on Trumpet, Marcus Hukse on Trumpet, Nancy Shalvatis on Horn, Daniel Carver on Trombone, and Paul J. Eschelbach on Tuba.

No registration necessary. First come, first seated.

When you experience the loss of a loved one, navigating through the maze of emotion, making ordinary decisions, and finding a new rhythm to every day can be stressful and overwhelming. These workshops, led by Beth Stamp, support facilitator, may provide an opportunity to share experiences, feelings, and new ideas for moving forward.
