Ready Go Register Bags and Emergency Preparedness
The Monmouth County on Aging, Disabilities and Veterans Services staff will distribute free disaster preparedness Ready Go Bags to eligible residents and provide an opportunity to enroll in “Register Ready” which helps first responders to locate and evacuate people with access and functional needs during an emergency. Caregivers may attend and receive a Ready Go Bag for a care recipient. Please bring an ID and emergency contact phone number. Additionally, as we age, we become more vulnerable to accidents and injuries. We will review what you need to be prepared for emergencies and discuss what an older adult’s first aid kit should have in it.
Attendance is free and open to all eligible.
