Senior citizens and people with disabilities are being provided with “ready-go” bags to help them be prepared when a disaster hits that forces people to leave their homes, thanks to a group of Monmouth County organizations.
The bags, which are being provided at no charge, are 14 inches by 18 inches and made of blue canvas and are designed for people to think about what they need to take at a moment’s notice and gather it into one easy-to-grab bag, a news release from Monmouth ACTS (Assisting Community Through Services), which is a coalition of county organizations and agencies.
