Monmouth ACTS (Assisting Community Through Services) is a partnership between County government and local nonprofit organizations, the first of its kind in New Jersey. We listen to the voices of residents to understand their everyday needs and long-term goals. By working together, County staff and community leaders respond to those needs and support people’s hopes for a better future.
Together, we’re finding better ways to connect people to services like mental health care, addiction support, housing, child care, transportation, and more. The goal of Monmouth ACTS is simple: to make sure everyone in Monmouth County can get the help they need, when they need it.

For those at immediate risk of homelessness, contact the Monmouth County Division of Social Services to determine temporary shelter placement eligibility at 732-431-6000 ext.4613, Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Monmouth County Division of Social Services may provide emergency and/or temporary placements to single individuals and families. Benefits are based on eligibility.
Family Promise of Monmouth County 732-747-8577 Monday-Friday 9:00 to 4:00 Family Promise hosts families for up to 3 months with supportive services. An interview is required.
